Bobby Kovey

Bobby Kovey is an experienced business development and government relations consultant, having worked extensively in both the public and private sector.
Prior to founding The Credo Company, Kovey worked within various state offices, primarily in the legislature. After his time in the government, Kovey served on several campaigns and a governor’s transition team.
As managing director of The Credo Company, Kovey oversees the firm's multiple lines of business – including government relations, public-private partnerships, procurement and public finance.
Kovey also is the founder and president of the Ohio Innovation and Technology Association (www.ohioita.org) which the state’s independent, non-profit trade group of Ohio’s technology industry professionals operating at the intersection of business, technology and public policy.
Additionally, Kovey is the founder of Liberty Energy (www.libertyenergypower.com) which is one of the most trusted energy advisory firms in the state of Ohio. Liberty Energy is the official energy partner of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
Born in Binghamton, N.Y. and raised in Pittsburgh and Northeast Ohio, Kovey has a Finance Degree from the Ohio State University's Max M. Fisher College of Business, and he also obtained a Certificate in Catholic Social Doctrine and Business Ethics from Catholic University of America, and a Certificate in Executive Management and Leadership from the University of Notre Dame.
Kovey and his family reside on a century-old farm and are parishioners at St. Joan of Arc Church.
Don Thibaut

Don Thibaut has worked in the government and public affairs arena for more than three decades. A veteran of Ohio political and governing strategy, Thibaut has a range of experience at the state and federal level, before founding The Credo Company.
Thibaut was instrumental in John Kasich’s early political career, aiding Kasich’s election to the Ohio Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. He went with Kasich to Washington, serving as his Chief of Staff for nearly 20 years.
Born just outside of Grove City and raised in Columbus, Thibaut is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in German Village. He is a history buff and an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns and the Baltimore Orioles.
Brian Durdle

Brian Durdle serves as the Director and Senior Advisor for Government Relations with The Credo Co. Brian’s experience includes serving a similar role for the international law firm, BakerHostetler, and a national 15-year long role as Vice President of State and Local Government Relations for Goodrich Corporation & United Technologies Aerospace (now Raytheon Aerospace).
Prior to that, Durdle served as Chief of Staff for former Congressman Steven C. LaTourette (R-OH) after holding several senior level staff positions in the Ohio Senate.
In his role at Credo Company, Durdle will collaborate with clients throughout Ohio as a legislative policy and regulatory expert, assisting clients ranging from local governments, manufacturers, and financial institutions in meeting their organizational objectives in the government arena.
In addition to handling state and local matters in Ohio, Durdle advises clients on matters involving government relations in other states and at the federal level.
