Don Thibaut - Founding Partner

Don Thibaut has worked in the government and public affairs arena for more than three decades. A veteran of Ohio political and governing strategy, Thibaut has a range of experience at the state and federal level, before founding The Credo Company.

Thibaut was instrumental in John Kasich's early political career, aiding Kasich's election to the Ohio Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. He went with Kasich to Washington, serving as his Chief of Staff for nearly 20 years.

Born just outside of Grove City and raised in Columbus, Thibaut is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in German Village. He is a history buff and an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns.

Robert J. Kovey - Managing Partner

Bobby Kovey is an experienced government relations professional, having worked extensively in both the public and private sector. Prior to becoming a partner at The Credo Company with Don Thibaut, Kovey worked with some of his first mentors at Preisse Consulting and Van Meter Ashbrook & Associates.

Kovey began his career in government as a page in the Ohio Senate. He then served as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. After his time in the legislature, Kovey managed and worked on several local and statewide political campaigns.

Born in Binghamton, N.Y. and raised in Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio, Kovey is a graduate of The Ohio State University's Max M. Fisher College of Business. There he earned a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance. Kovey resides in Columbus, where he is a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. A fan of college basketball and football, Kovey passionately follows The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Jimmy Wall - Associate

Jimmy was born and raised in central Ohio, and is a graduate of The Ohio State University.

While studying political science, Jimmy was involved in local and state wide political campaigns. Following the 2010 election, Jimmy worked at the Ohio House of Representatives, where he handled constituent outreach and administrative duties for a majority caucus committee chairman.

Jimmy began working at The Credo Company in 2011, where he currently handles the company's internal management and regulatory requirements, as well as client relations.

In his spare time, Jimmy is a competitive hockey player, and sometimes trainer of hundreds of youth hockey players in the Columbus area.
